By registering for Community Days, you’re becoming part of our largest volunteer event of the year. Together with colleagues across the U.S. and Canada, we’ll make a difference for cancer patients in our communities.
By volunteering at Community Days, you’re helping patients in two important ways:
- Gift of a Care Package – Small gestures bring hope to people with cancer. That’s why you’ll create care packages that reach patients through Giving Comfort, our McKesson Foundation program.
- Gift of Services – When you sign up, the McKesson Foundation gives $10 to Yale New Haven Children's Hospital, our local Cancer Care Community Partner. Yale New Haven Children's Hospital is a dedicated pediatric hospital with world-class experts who offer a full spectrum of primary and specialized medical care. As a leading academic medical center that is the primary teaching hospital of Yale School of Medicine, Yale New Haven Children's Hospital offers cutting-edge therapies to area children. Its advanced approaches to pediatric therapies, innovative research, and community outreach ensure a continuum of excellence that patients from all over the world can depend on.
